Daniel James Hoy Obituary
We are sad to announce that on April 8, 2024, at the age of 86, Daniel James Hoy of Narragansett, Rhode Island, born in Cleveland, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by : his parents, John Hoy and Catherine Hoy (Tighe); his former life partner Mary Hoy (Perko); and his brothers, Jack and Tim Hoy.
He is survived by : his wife Ellen M. Hoy (McCann); his children, Thad Hoy, Tom Hoy, Peter Hoy, Danielle Curran and Veronica Hoy; his grandchildren, Sean, Matt, Cathy, Charlotte, Peter, Molly, Hannah, Ethan, Alyssa, Daniel and Jimmy; his siblings, Terry Hoy, Jim Hoy and Jeanne Frances; his stepchildren, Rebecca Riley, Thomas Riley and Kathleen Bailey; and his stepgrandchildren, Sammy, Lindsay, Kaya, Luke and Donovan. He is also survived by ten great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Nardolillo Funeral Home & Crematory – South County Chapel (1111 Boston Neck Rd, Narragansett, RI 02882). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 at the Highland Memorial Park (1 Rhode Island Ave, Johnston, RI 02919).
