He is survived by: his siblings, John (Phyllis), Joan Petrone (Al), Barbara Rouse, Robert and Peter; his children, George, John (Roxane Teboul-Boitano), Anthony and Margaret (Robert Maddestra Jr.); his grandchildren, MaÏa Cooper (Clay), Ren Kelly, Delphine Boitano and George F. Boitano; and his great grandchildren, Weston James, Theodore and Caroline Cooper.

A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Mary's Star of the Sea (864 Point Judith Rd, Narragansett, RI 02882). A burial was held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Ri Veterans' Memorial Cemetery (301 S County Trail, Exeter, RI 02822).
