With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Jane F. McCarthy of Narragansett, Rhode Island, born in Providence, Rhode Island, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Patrick Farrell and Elizabeth Hope Emmel Farrell; and her siblings, Thomas Farrell, Betty Tranghese and Patrica Schissler.
She is survived by: her husband Gerald Michael McCarthy; her daughters, Mary Elizabeth McCarthy-Tiella (Gino Tiella) of Henniker, NH, Eileen McCarthy of West Hartford, CT and Kate McCarthy (Jeremy Bond) of West Hartford, CT; her grandchildren, Mae Braley (Tyler Braley) of Franklin, NH, Anna Akopian (Mike Akopian) of Washington, DC, Adrian Tiella (Cassidy Tiella) of Narragansett, RI, Miles McCarthy-Reynolds of Portland, Sarah McCarthy-Reynolds of West Hartford, Cheili Bond of West Hartford and Midehlia Bond of West Hartford; her great grandchildren, Ellie Gianna Braley and Luca Jack Braley of Franklin, NH; and her sister Marie Ziolkowsky of East Greenwich, RI. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and dear friends.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Mary Star of the Sea Church (864 Point Judith Rd, Narragansett, RI 02882).
