The passing of John E. Spence Sr. of Narragansett, Rhode Island, born in Fall River, Massachusetts leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on August 2, 2024 at the age of 89. He was predeceased by: his parents, James W. Spence and Ivy Spence (Isherwood); and his grandson Cole J. Spence. He is survived by: his wife Annie A. Spence (Thurston); his children, Kathy L. Gardner, John E. Spence Jr. (Jack) and David R. Spence (Jessica); his grandchildren, Hannah E. Jandreau (Kevin), Ian T. Gardner and Lily M. Spence; his great grandchild Forrest W. Jandreau; and his brother Dr. Benjamin Spence. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
