It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Krista Maureen Martin of Narragansett, Rhode Island, born in Providence, Rhode Island, who passed away on November 30, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She is survived by : her parents, Rita Martin and Shawn Martin; her brother Shawn Michael (Sara); her nephews, Connor, Caleb, Owen and Andrew; her niece Natalie; and her close friend Aaron Douglas. She is also survived by several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

In a final act of selfless generosity, Krista has chosen to donate her body to the Dana Farber "rapid autopsy" research program to continue the study of Metastatic Melanoma. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the "Krista Martin Band Geek Scholarship" for Westerly High School, that Krista established prior to her passing. We only hope it gives you some peace to know that Krista lived the life she wanted to, did things when she wanted to and the way she wanted to.
