With sadness, we share the passing of Robert J. Doyle of Narragansett, Rhode Island. Robert, born on February 22, 1958, passed away on September 24, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Family, friends, and acquaintances remember Robert for his warmth, thoughtfulness, and the moments shared together. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph A. Doyle and Charlotte Doyle (Fitzgibbon); his daughter Melissa Anne Doyle; and his sister Diane Garneau. He is survived by: his wife Anne (Bartolomeo); and his brothers, Joseph (Patricia) of Durham, NC and Steve (Mona) of Mooresville, NC. He is also survived by four nieces; five nephews; two grandnieces and many cherished cousins.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM at the Cathedral of Saints Peter and Paul (30 Fenner St, Providence, RI 02903). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
