He was predeceased by: his parents, Evelyn O. T. Leeson and Robert Leeson; and his brother Richmond Talbot Leeson. He is survived by: his wife Peggy of Providence; his children, Hope Leeson (John Mills), Bob (Lolli Leeson), Margaret Leeson (Tom Gramaglia) and Jamie (Doony Leeson); and his grandchildren, Jack, Ivy Mills, Robbie, Nate, Annabelle Leeson, Abby, Peter, Silas Gramaglia and Josie Leeson.
In lieu of flowers, Rob's family wishes that contributions be made in his memory to the University of Rhode Island, Metcalf Institute's Leeson Lecture Series, or any of the environmental organizations to which Rob devoted his time and shared his expertise.
