He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles "Jack" Gwaltney and Lydia Gwaltney. He is survived by: his children, Derek J. Gwaltney (Jennifer) of Marietta, GA, Elizabeth Lombardi of Orlando, FL and Lynne Lombardi of West Warwick, RI; his brothers, Jack Gwaltney of Westerly, Larry Gwaltney of Westerly and Ronnie Gwaltney of Westerly; and his grandchildren, Tyler, Grace and Reese. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Stonington High School Girls' Softball team at 176 South Broad St., Pawcatuck, CT 06379, payable to Stonington High School, noted for Uncle Roger's Scholarship.
