He was predeceased by: his spouse Gene Frances Malin (Stutman); his close friend Marian Friedland; and his parents, Leon Malin and Rena Malin (Shapiro). He is survived by: his son Judah Malin of Huntersville; his grandsons, Caleb and Gabriel Malin; and his siblings, Bayla Sklaroff, Howard Malin and Mark Malin.
