He was predeceased by : his parents, George D. Havens and Jennie R. Havens (Howard); his stepfather Andrew Keller; his siblings, George D. Havens II, Robert H. Havens (Bob), Jackie Keller and Shirley Hilton; and his granddaughter Sarah Jane McCullough.

He is survived by : his wife Bette Havens (Moen); his children, George (Arlene) of West Hurley, NY, Marilyn McCullough of Narragansett and Charles (Mazilla) of Richmond; and his grandchildren, Lauren, Michael and Andrew.
