He is survived by: his parents, Robert Closter and Linda Closter; his significant other Keira; his children, Keira, Keegan and Kelly; his sisters, Jill (Nicholas) and Bridgette (Evan); his niece Lucy; and his nephews, Owen, Laughlin and Whit. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Andrew Catholic Church (23 Chapel St, New Shoreham, RI 02807). A burial will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 12:15 PM at the Island Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Rob's memory to the Block Island Lions Club, Mary D. Fund, Dana Farber Cancer Institute or Block Island School Athletics.
