She was predeceased by : her parents, Mary Louise Harrington and James Gilbert Harrington. She is survived by : her husband David M. Bethune of Newport, RI; her daughter Ashley Ferreira (Edward J. Ferreira, Jr.); her grandchildren, Jake Ferreira of Portsmouth, RI, Luke Ferreira of Portsmouth, RI and Lily Ferreira of Portsmouth, RI; her daughter Meredith Bethune (Dustin Janes); her granddaughter Sylvia Janes of Albany, NY; and her brother James G. Harrington, Jr. (Lenice Harrington) of Portsmouth, RI..

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Potter League for Animals https://potterleague.org or the Institute for Neurodegenerative Diseases https://indflorida.org.
