It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mario H. Gonzalez of Newport, Rhode Island, who passed away on March 30, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Libardo Gonzalez and Ligia Gonzalez (Caro); his son Steven K Rivera; and his siblings, Leslie of Jesus Gonzalez, Gloria Ines Gonzalez-Caro, Gustavo Gonzalez-Caro, Fany Gonzalez-Caro and Fabio Gonzalez-Caro.

He is survived by: his wife Lydia Mae Gonzalez (Barboza); his children, Juan Carlos Gonzalez, Mario H Gonzalez, Gregory Gonzalez, Mauricio Gonzalez, Alan Rivera, David Rivera, Cheryl Ann Whipple, Marilyn Gallucci, Lisa Gonzalez and Valerie Giblin; and his siblings, Jorge Alberto, Arturo, Cruz Estella and Fulbio Gonzalez-Caro.
