We bid farewell to Robert M. Cleary of Newport, Rhode Island, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on December 2, 2025 at the age of 91. Robert touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. In the vast expanse of eternity, Robert shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Robert farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Cleary and Mary Cleary (Hurley); his brother John Cleary; and his brother-in-law Michael D. Keating. He is survived by: his siblings, Daniel Cleary of Newport, Catherine Keating of Newport and Paul Cleary (Kathleen Cleary) of West Hartford, CT.. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, and their children.
