He was predeceased by: his parents, William Caldwell and Muriel Caldwell (Richardson); and his brothers, Bruce Caldwell and William Caldwell, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Virginia F. Caldwell (Wood); his son David A. Caldwell, Jr. (Christina Richman Caldwell) of Providence; and his grandchildren, Claire and Sarah Caldwell.
