He was predeceased by: his parents, Santiago Mercado and Mariana Mercado (Arroyo). He is survived by: his wife Linda C. Mercado (Altham); his children, Marya L. Mercado Lazarski (Keith) of North Kingstown and Mia C. Mercado Jacobvitz (Daniel) of West Bridgewater, MA; his grandchildren, Lincoln, Alastor and Calvin; and his siblings, Edwin Mercado, Liduvina DerManouelian (Eve), Miriam Pascone and Santiago Mercado. He is also survived by nephews and countless friends.
