We are sad to announce that on January 4, 2022, Edward P. Shea Sr. of North Kingstown, Rhode Island, born in Providence, Rhode Island passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward A. Shea and Anna Shea (Vendresca). He is survived by: his wife Katherine J. Shea (Campanile); his sons, Edward P. Shea, Jr. (Kara) of Warwick, Thomas M. Shea (Amandalynn) of Cranston and Adam J. Shea of North Smithfield; his siblings, Dorothy A. Shea (Richard Greene) of Winter Haven, FL, Kevin M. Shea (Paula) of Warwick and Patricia R. Russo (Peter) of Charlestown; and his grandchildren, Jacob, Molli, Emelia, Olivia, Kaelyn, Leah and Edward Shea.

Visiting hours will be on Thursday, January 13, from 4-7 p. m. (Face masks will be required.).

In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to RI.

“Ed was the most wonderful, kind, gentle, and generous person I have had the pleasure to know. He was a tremendous influence & role model in my life. As a mentor at Auburn Tool, during my time with the crew at Formex, & even after I left to join ETCO and beyond. He always provided an open chair in the office and wise (or wiseass!) words of wisdom! Nobody knew how to drees up a white Hanes T-Shirt, Grey Sweatpants, and slippers like Ed. There will never be another one like him. My condolences! :-(”
