He was predeceased by: his wife Eileen P. Caffrey (Gilchrist); his parents, John J. Caffrey and Philomena B. Caffrey (Killeen); and his siblings-in-law, Patricia Caffrey, Peggy Sterner, Barbara Gilchrist and Robert Maisenholder.
He is survived by: his daughter Eileen Caffrey Wright (Jason); his grandsons, John and William Wright; his siblings, James Caffrey (Mary), Thomas Caffrey (Linda), Joseph Caffrey and Mary Caffrey Agoglia (John); and his siblings-in-law, James Gilchrist (Linda), John Gilchrist and Rosemary Maisenholder. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
