The family announces the passing of John A. Patterson of North Kingstown, Rhode Island on October 15, 2026. John, born on September 2, 1936, was part of many shared moments and relationships throughout life. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Lillian Cooper Patterson; and his parents, Jacob Taylor Patterson and Pauline Brittain Nininger. He is survived by: his children, Christine E. Patterson of Palm Springs, California, JP Patterson of New York, Ariana Patterson of New Orleans, Louisiana and Jena Patterson of Como, Italy; his stepson Jason Pariseau of Warwick; his sister Linda Carney of DeLand, Florida; and his grandchildren, Taylor Patterson, Shilo Peers, Zander Peers and Kyle Whiteside.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 19th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Carpenter-Jenks Funeral Home (659 E Greenwich Ave, West Warwick, RI 02893).
