He was predeceased by: his parents, Jose Joao Da Silva and Julia Da Silva (Teixeira); and his sisters, Maria Lima and Beatrice Silva. He is survived by: his wife Autilia Silva; his sons, Alvaro D. Silva (Christine), Joseph S. Silva (Damian) and Daniel A. Silva; his grandchild Alessandro G Silva; and his siblings, Viriato Silva and John Teixeira.
