He is survived by: his wife Evelyn C. Smith (Gardner); his sibling Shirley Cole of East Providence; his daughter Melissa Burgess (Earl Ellis) of Attleboro; his grandchildren, Ashley Jackson and Justin Garcia; and his great grandchildren, Janiyah and Joshua.
