She was predeceased by: her parents, Rose Kochanek (Caldarone) and John Kochanek; and her pet Sarge. She is survived by: her sons, Jeremy Theroux-Kochanek (Nicole Theroux-Kochanek) of North Providence, George Kochanek of Cumberland, Jacob Kochanek of Cumberland and Joshua Kochanek (Shannon Kochanek) of Capitola, California; her sisters, Pamela Henderson (Richard) and Eileen Therrien; her brother-in-law William Durkin; her siblings, Paula Kochanek, Paul Kochanek (Jaimie), Wayne Kochanek (Donna) and Mark Kochanek; and her grandchildren, Destiny, Jacob, Skye, Greyson, Koel and Emerson. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Keefe Funeral Home (5 Higginson Ave, Lincoln, RI 02865).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ellie's memory to the Alzheimer's Association, to support Alzheimer's research, education, and care for those affected by the disease.
