She was predeceased by: her husband David R. Valente; her parents, Francisco Rivera and Raffaela Rivera (Riccardi); and her siblings, Carmine Rivera, Frank Rivera, Anna Pirri, Lena Campbell and Angie McDonough.
She is survived by: her sons, David J. Valente and Thomas F. Valente; her grandchildren, Julianne Violante, Michael Valente and Stephanie Gleick; and her great grandchildren, Liana Valente, Adalynn Valente and Cole Gleick.
