He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James G. Sylvia and Ann Sylvia (Oliva); his sisters, Margaret Sylvia of Hope, Kathleen Currier of Warwick and Dorothy Soucy of Cranston; his nephew James Masso (Amy); his nieces, Kristin Gothier (Brent), Kaitlin Bird (Jeffrey), Jessica Larson (Casey) and Ann Gardner (Joseph); his great-nephews, Grayson Masso, Nathan, Connor and William Gothier; and his great-niece Eleanor Gothier.
A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Immaculate Conception Church (237 Garden Hills Dr, Cranston, RI 02920).
