He was predeceased by: his wife Grace R. Iacona (Mancuso); his parents, John Iacona and Antonetta Iacona (Carlone); and his siblings, Michael Iacona, Joseph Iacona and Theresa Abatiello.
He is survived by: his children, John A. Iacona, Jr. (Phyllis) and Gina M. Winn; his sister Celeste Ripanti; his grandchildren, Gianna, John Ralph, Matthew, Sarah, Rachel and Aliana; and his great grandchildren, Isobel, Hannah, Grayson and Bennett. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations in John's memory may be made to the Fraternal Order of Police.
