She was predeceased by: her parents, Edwin Duarte and Doris Duarte (Houle); her daughter Stephanie Tatro; and her brother Karl Fitzgerald. She is survived by: her husband Joseph E. Pierce, Jr.; her daughters, Melanie D'Angelo (Giovanni) of Pawtucket, Samantha Pierce of North Providence and Vanessa Pierce (Kyle Ogni) of West Warwick; and her siblings, Mark Duarte of Woonsocket, Bruce Duarte of Attleboro, Mass. and Susan Laboissiere of Smithfield. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.
