It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maria DaRosa of North Providence, Rhode Island, who passed away on January 1, 2026, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Jose S. DaRosa; her father Jose F. DaSilva; her son Jose E. DaRosa; and her siblings, Leontina DaSilva and Balbina DaSilva.
She is survived by: her mother Maria DaGloria DaSilva (Vargas); her children, Salvador DaRosa of East Providence, Noemia Pacheco of North Providence, Vievaldina Marin of North Carolina and Maria Fatima Soc of Pawtucket; and her sister Alda Cardoso of St Lawrence. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, who found in her a second mother.
