Mary A. Rainone Obituary

We announce the death of Mary A. Rainone of North Providence, Rhode Island, who passed away on September 14, 2026, at the age of 95. Mary will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Michael A. "Mike" Rainone; her parents, Peter McMaugh and Agnes McMaugh (Bramah); her parents-in-law, Antonio and Michelina Rainone (Rainone); and her siblings, Helen Janelle (Arthur), James McMaugh (Thelma) and Raymond McMaugh.

She is survived by: her children, Michael Rainone (Donna), Margaret M. Rainone and Ellen Kwiatkowski (Gregory); her grandsons, Anthony Rainone (Caitlin), Michael Rainone (Justyna), Alexander Kwiatkowski (Megan) and Edward Kwiatkowski; and her great grandchildren, Michelangelo and Victoria Rainone.

Visitation was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM at the Pontarelli-Marino Home (971 Branch Ave, Providence, RI 02904). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Saint Augustine Church (639 Mt Pleasant Ave, Providence, RI 02908).
