Benitez of North Providence, Rhode Island, born in Providence, Rhode Island, who passed away on April 13, 2024, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, William Walker and Blanche Walker (Benoit); and her siblings, Alan B. Walker, Robert Walker, Belle Pellegrinoand and Darlene A. Smith.

She is survived by : her son Jairo E. Benitez Jr. (Carla) of Cumberland; her siblings, William T. Walker Sr., James E. Walker, Brian J. Walker and Gloria J. Arias; and her grandsons, Diego and Marcus Benitez.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home (757 Mendon Rd, Cumberland, RI 02864). A prayer was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 at 6:30 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
