It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Peter J. Masterson of North Providence, Rhode Island, who passed away on May 21, 2026, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Masterson and Rose Masterson; his wife Evelyn Masterson; and his siblings, Hubert, John, James Masterson, Maureen Wolfer, Helena Potter, Ann Holt and Patricia Kiernan.
He is survived by: his brother Thomas Masterson of Middleburg, FL; and his children, Mark Masterson of Warwick, Gary E. Masterson of North Providence and Julie Gibney (Charles Gibney) of North Providence. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 28th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Robbins Funeral Home (2251 Mineral Spring Ave, North Providence, RI 02911). A procession will be held on Friday, May 29th 2026 at 9:00 AM at the St. Augustine's Church (20 Old Rd, Providence, RI 02908). A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 29th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, May 29th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Highland Memorial Park (1 Rhode Island Ave, Johnston, RI 02919).
