With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard G. Desjarlais (North Providence, Rhode Island), born in Woonsocket, Rhode Island, who passed away on November 10, 2025 at the age of 65. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Richard may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Richard touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilbert L. Desjarlais and Suzanne A. Desjarlais (Bourget). He is survived by: his siblings, Nancy E. Walkden and Russell F. Desjarlais; his sister-in-law Alison Daigle; and his siblings' children, Matthew Ricci, Andy Noel, Charlie Desjarlais and Renee Kalan.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 20th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Robbins Funeral Home (2251 Mineral Spring Ave, North Providence, RI 02911). A prayer will be held on Thursday, November 20th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
