He was predeceased by: his spouse Emelia A. Botelho (Scungio); his parents, Manuel Botelho and Josephine Botelho (Furtado); and his in-laws, Fred L. Scungio (Rosanne) of North Providence, Angela Petteruti and Veronica Paolino.
He is survived by: his in-laws, Roger V. Scungio (Jean) of Johnston and Alexander A. Scungio (Janice) of North Providence; his nephew Roger M. Scungio of North Kingstown; his godson Robert J. Massa of Warren, RI; and his cousin John Costa (Janet) of Warren, RI. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Robert's memory and honor to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
