He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Butera and Josephine Butera (Maione); his wife Bernice Butera; his children, Thomas (Nancy), Shannon Conti (Crescenzo), Donald (Carol), David (Marie) and Kevin (Shannon); and his sister Anne Aiello of Smithfield. He was also cherished by his children, grandchildren or great-grandchildren.
Tom was also a generous man and strongly supported education; in lieu of flowers, a scholarship has been created in his name. Donations can be made to RCBA.
