She was predeceased by: her father Anthony "Andy" Riccio; her husband Milton "Buddy" P. Luther; and her brother David A. Riccio. She is survived by: her mother Madelyn "Marge" Riccio (Ellis); her sister Karolye B. Cunha (Fernando) of Providence, RI; her sister-in-law Gemma Riccio of Coventry; her children, Col. Daniel J. Powers (Margaret) and Dr. Deborah L. Powers of Durango, CO; her grandsons, Daniel J. Powers, II and Alexander C. Powers (Taylor Michaelson); and her great grandchild Daniel J. Powers, III. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, friends and neighbors.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of the Rosary Church (21 Traverse St, Providence, RI 02903). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A committal service will be held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 at 11:30 AM at the Highland Memorial Park (1 Rhode Island Ave, Johnston, RI 02919).
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Hope Health in Providence, RI or to the Adventure Education Student Access Fund, Fort Lewis College Foundation, Durango, CO.
