She was predeceased by: her parent Alvena Richard; her son Allan Dale; and her stepdaughter Marsha Hougrand. She is survived by: her stepchildren, Richard Mowry (Pauline) of Middletown, CT and Barbara Miller. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; and thirteen great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure, 5005 LBJ Freeway, Dallas, TX 75244.
