It is with sadness that the passing of Janet Hennessey of North Smithfield, Rhode Island is shared. Janet passed away on August 9, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husbands, Robert Demers and Michael Hennessey of North Smithfield; her parents, Edgar Farland and Leonie Farland (Guay); and her siblings, Mike and Gerry Farland.
She is survived by: her children, Wendy Medina (Cris) of North Smithfield and Robin Ferra (Ralph) of North Smithfield; her grandchildren, Jarred, Nicole (Kham), Zachary (Emma) and Gregory; her great grandchild Kya; and her pet Abby.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made, in Janet Hennessey's memory, to the Bayberry Commons Activities Fund, to support programs and enrichment for the residents and her friends at the nursing home.
