It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joan M. Coleman of North Smithfield, Rhode Island, born in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, who passed away on April 16, 2024, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Joseph Primeau and Melvina Primeau (King); her child Debi Coleman; her siblings, Ellen Quinn, Dolores Correia, Dorothy Iandoli and John Primeau; and her former life partner John A. Coleman of Cumberland.

She is survived by : her children, Kevin Coleman, Colleen Coleman Bauerle, Daniel Coleman and Erin Coleman Isselmann. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the O'Neill Funeral Home (3102 Mendon Rd, Cumberland, RI 02864). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Historic Saint Joseph Church (1303 Mendon Rd, Cumberland, RI 02864). A burial was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 from 12:45 PM to 1:00 PM at the Saint Joseph Cemetery (900 Mendon Rd, Cumberland, RI 02864).
