She was predeceased by: her husband James E. Murphy; and her brother Royal Bellemer. She is survived by: her children, Debra Beauvais (Barry) of Naugatuck, Connecticut, Mark McLaughlin (Camille) of Warwick and Eric McLaughlin (Nicole) of North Smithfield; and her brother Gordon Bellemer of Hyannis, Massachusetts. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.
