He was predeceased by: his brother John F. X. Gaquin. He is survived by: his children, Eileen, Deirdre, John, Betsy, Jody, Michael, Dan and Chris; his wife Heidi Stiepock; and his children, Austin and Taryn Gaquin. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and friends of his children.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations to John F.X. Gaquin Award for Excellence in Debating at Boston Latin School Alumni Association in memory of Michael D. Gaquin.
