He was predeceased by: his wife Elaine Ballou (Keenan); his parents, Cyril Lemieux and Catherine Lemieux (Ballou); and his siblings, James Ashworth and Catherine San Soucie.
He is survived by: his children, Martha Roberts (late Richard Roberts), Roger Ballou (Rhoda) and Jennifer Duhamel (John); his grandchildren, Christopher Roberts (Jessica), Katherine Morin, Thomas Strange, Jo-Anne Duhamel, Ryan Ballou (Kelly Gardner) and Justine Scoran (Troy); his great grandchildren, Sophie Roberts and Noah Morin; and his siblings, John, Jeffrey Ashworth and Edna Sacs.
