She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Bertrand and Fabiola Bertrand (Desrosiers); her husband Samuel B. Simpson; and her brother J. Gerald Bertrand. She is survived by: her children, Michael Simpson of Harrisville, Bradford Simpson of Lincoln, Scott Simpson of Pascoag and Pamela Ethier of Harmony. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
