In loving memory of Adelaide Tessier (Pawtucket, Rhode Island), who departed this world on August 3, 2025 at the age of 94. Adelaide leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. She was predeceased by: her spouse Rene R. Tessier; her parents, Manuel Barcelos and Eleuteria Barcelos (Enes); and her siblings, Belmiro, Isaias, Joao, Jeremiah, Manuel, Fatima and Filomena.
She is survived by: her siblings, Arsenio Barcelos of Canada, Jose Barcelos of Lincoln, Benjamin Barcelos of North Providence, Egipcia Sousa of Pawtucket and Arlete Gomes of Pawtucket.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM at the William W. Tripp Funeral Home (1008 Newport Ave, Pawtucket, RI 02861-2594). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St Mary's Catholic Church (103 Pine St, Pawtucket, RI 02860).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Pawtucket Animal Shelter, C/O Pawtucket Police Department, 121 Roosevelt Ave., Pawtucket, RI 02860 would be appreciated.
