He is survived by: his wife Luz Torres; his children, Rosa Merced of Buffalo, NY, Christina Merced of Texas, Armando Merced III of Cranston and Luis Merced of Providence; and his siblings, Wilnelia Merced of Medina, Beatriz Merced of Providence, Magdalia Merced of Pawtucket, Carmen Merced of Pawtucket, Wanda Merced of New York, Victor Merced of Puerto Rico and Miguel Merced of Puerto Rico. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
