She is survived by : her daughter Kerrie Medeiros (Glenn) of Pawtucket, RI; her grandchildren, Glenn Medeiros Jr. (Jessica) of Frederick, Maryland, Ilaura Boisvert (Louis) of North Providence, RI, Krystiana Smith (Susan) of Woonsocket, RI and Alexandra Medeiros (Jacob Scudieri) of Pawtucket, RI; her great grandchildren, Brady, Jaxson, Paul, Lucas, Nehemiha, Noel and Nygel; her sisters, Mary Carvalho (late Roger Carvalho) of Estero and Carol Darling (Jack) of Cumberland, RI; her nephews, Patrick Chadwick (Traci) of Buford, GA and Nathan Chadwick (Kristen) of Walpole, MA; and her niece Bethany Arnold (Eric) of Cumberland, RI.

With firm observance to appropriate Covid-19 health safety measures, including social distancing and the use of face coverings (required), Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Sunday, September 27, 2020 from 2:00 PM-5:00 PM at A. A. Mariani and Son Funeral Home, 200 Hawkins St., Providence, RI.

“I am very sorry to hear of the unexpected passing of Barbara. We first talked while I was installing landscaping bricks in my yard two doors down, in 2014, and Barbara introduced herself while pushing a stroller with one of her grandchildren. In 2018, she suggested that I could get a good interest rate at her bank, and we talked about finances and her 24/7, two year care of her late husband, Philip, Sr. Ever helpful, she called me from time to time, to remind me that it was trash day tomorrow.”
