He is survived by: his wife Maria Rosa (Braganca); his son Mike Cavaco; his grandson Andre Plante; his nieces and nephews, Carlos Galopim, Frank Galopim, Rose Marie Galopim, Felizbella Pinho Cavaco, Filomena Pinho Cavaco and Alfredo Pinho Cavaco; Angela Finegan.
