It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Candida B. Vicente (Pawtucket, Rhode Island), who passed away on May 10, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leao Pires Gomes and Feliciana Alves; her husband Paulino Barbosa Vicente; her children, Leao Filipe and Augusto Vicente; her daughter-in-law Peggy Vicente; and her grandson Steven Vicente.
She is survived by: her child Jesuino Xavier; her children-in-law, Doris Xavier, Brian Salazar Fonseca, Peter Barfield and Glen Schwendemann (Alfredo Barros); and her grandchildren, Celissa Fonseca, Carlene Fonseca, Danny Xavier, Jessy Xavier, Christopher Vicente, Paul Vicente, Paula Rosario, Peter Barfield, Brooke Barfield, Emily Schwendemann and Andrew Schwendemann. She is also survived by 19 stepchildren, 7 great grandchildren and many more step grandchildren and step great grandchildren, and many loved nieces and nephews.
