She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Peter F. Babiec, Jr.; her daughters, Dianne M. Dalton (Daniel) of Rehoboth, MA and Susan C. Goodwin (Charlie) of Pittsburgh, PA.; her grandchildren, Peter Timothy, Alexander and Kate Goodwin; her parents, Edward Gugel and Adeline Gugel; and her siblings, Edward Gugel Jr. (Judy), Mary Martins (Dennis), Helen LaFreniere, Anna Lucas (Dave) and Dianne Gugel.

Babiec Memorial Scholarship (https://www.givecampus.com) for first-generation RIC college students or Tockwotton on the Waterfront Employee Enrichment Program, in appreciation of the outstanding and compassionate care she received from every person at Tockwotton.
