She was predeceased by: her parents, José Filipe Carvalho and Maria José Filipe Botelho; her husband Manuel A. Dias; her daughter Maria; her sons-in-law, Paul Aguiar and Joseph Lima; and her siblings, João Filipe, José Carvalho, Augusta Filipe of São Miguel Açores, Luís Carvalho of Canada, Brasilina Reis of Rhode Island and Neli DeMelo of Brazil.
She is survived by: her daughters, Ana Aguiar and Emilia Lima; her sister Maria Paulinha Raposo of Canada; her grandchildren, Nelson Cabral of Florida, Eric Lima, Michael Aguiar, Cortney Lima and Joshua Lima of Rhode Island; and her great grandchild Nicolina Lima. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Keefe Funeral Home (5 Higginson Ave, Lincoln, RI 02865). A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 8:30 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Anthony Church (32 Lawn Ave, Pawtucket, RI 02860).
