He was predeceased by: his wife Adele Marie Shwaery (Abdulla Habib); his parents, Esper A. Shwaery and Ida Shwaery (Thomas); and his siblings, George, Kenneth Shwaery, Josephine Yaghoobian and Lora Schroder.

He is survived by: his children, Linda A. Dvelis of Pawtucket, Frederick N. Shwaery, Jr. (Catherine) of Virginia and Robert M. Shwaery of Pawtucket; his siblings, David T. Shwaery and Georgette Fitzpatrick (Francis); and his grandchildren, Kristen, Robert Silva, Jason, Stephanie Dvelis, Nicholas Shwaery, Elizabeth and Michael Melcher.
