He was predeceased by: his wife Stella Salhany (Tkatzuk); his parents, Elias Salhany and Helen Salhany (Barakat); and his siblings, Joseph E. Salhany, Adeline Gugel, Mary T. Roy, Rosaline Salhany Estaphan and Leo E. Salhany. He is also survived by thirteen nieces and nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, and many dear friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts to either the Church of St. Basil the Great or Tockwotton on the Waterfront's Employee Enrichment Fund, 500 Waterfront Drive, East Providence, RI 02914 would be appreciated.
